Who is The Really Wild Gardener

Hi, I'm Romaine, and I’m wild about nature!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by animals, both great and small. As a child, I would spend hours gazing out my bedroom window, watching birds flit between the trees, bees dart in and out of the hedges, and butterflies swarm the giant Lavatera by our shed. But these days, I see far fewer sparrows and finches, and it’s rare to find a shrub alive with bees, butterflies, and hoverflies.

Since 2020, we’ve all become more aware of how important outdoor space is and the joy that nature brings. Whether you’ve built an outdoor office or laid down astroturf on a balcony, even the smallest garden can be a sanctuary for wildlife.

That’s my mission—to help create outdoor spaces that not only bring you peace but also help nature thrive.

I’m currently studying for my RHS Level 2 in Horticulture and love nothing more than digging in the dirt, weeding, and watching a garden come to life.

So, if you’re ready to welcome nature into your space, let’s embrace the wild—let a few nettles grow, pile up some twigs, and get Really Wild with me!
